Backstory
Growing up in a small hamlet near the forests around Winterton, Cuán spent most of his youth going into the woods to gather herbs and berries, fascinated by the wild woods and the animals that inhabited them, Cuán spent time learning all he could about the hinterland.
It was on one of his journeys into the woods that the young Cuán was set upon by brigands, he called to the goddess Sylvana for help and she answered by sending a pack of wolves to aid him. Touched directly by the hand of Sylvana, Cuán was soon sought out by Nessa Ridgerow, a Ranger and follower of Kern, a minor deity and offshoot of Sylvana, it was she who took him to the far mountains monastery, a remote almost forgotten place dedicate to the worship of Sylvana where he learned his skills as a Druid.
Now the young and highly likeable man, has been sent out into the Bay of Spirits by the by the Abbess of the monastery Gabriella Alonia, to learn more about the hinterland and spread the teaching of Sylvana where he can.
Finding himself alone in the Hinterland, Cuán came into contact with and got talking to a small group of young adventures in a wayside inn one evening, that is when they all decided to band together and go off into the hinterland to explore and find adventure.
